The hospitality from the owners was genuinely warm.
We encountered severe issues with the breakfast quality. The bacon served was inedible, overly dry and hard, which ruined our morning. tall guests should beware of low ceilings in certain rooms. my partner bumped their head on multiple occasions, making our stay frustrating.

great stay but minor room issues
The hospitality from Kevin and Elaine was top-notch. They provided us with detailed instructions for our arrival, which made the check-in process seamless. The breakfast stood out, featuring a lavish vegetarian meal with an impressive variety of options. The garden view from the breakfast area was a delightful bonus, adding to the overall atmosphere.
The ceiling in our Deluxe Double Room with Shower felt quite low in certain areas.

Request a room with a skylight for beautiful morning light, but be cautious of low ceilings if you're tall.

We had a braw time! Kevin and Elaine were pure brilliant, welcoming us with the warmest smiles. The breakfast was a cracking spread, with loads of choice. Just a wee drawback was the town view—not the postcard type, but it’s all good as we weren't in for the scenery.

great location , but breakfast needs attention
The room was pleasantly warm and well-furnished, creating a cozy atmosphere for my stay. I appreciated the convenient location, making it easy to access boat trips on the loch. The garden view was a lovely touch that added to the relaxing vibe during breakfast.

The garden apartment felt bright with natural light from the skylights. Comfortable pull-out couch bed surprised me. Strolling to nearby Balloch Castle Country Park for a morning walk was delightful. Kevin and Elaine genuinely cared for us. They greeted us warmly, making our stay feel special. Breakfast was top-notch, offering a variety of delicious choices. Only downside, the attic room had low ceilings that might be a problem for taller guests. One night wasn't enough to enjoy all the charm here. I would stay again, but maybe avoid the attic room next time.
